A post-doctoral position is available for a researcher with significant experience in biochemistry, protein purification and/or structural biology in the lab of Susan Chan and Philippe Kastner. The aim of the lab is to understand how transcriptional regulators shape complex developmental decisions and how deregulation of their expression contributes to diseases of the hematopoietic system.

Profile

Candidates should have a newly-graduated PhD, or be close to obtaining their doctoral degree, and be committed to an academic career.

About us

The Institut de Génétique et de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire is a major center of biomedical research in Europe. The institute's goal is to develop multi-disciplinary research at the interface of biology, biochemistry, physics and medicine. It attracts a large international group of students and post-docs, and the working language is english.

The successful candidate will be offered a package according to a grid established by the IGBMC, which will depend on the level of education and experience.
